The Vanderbilt Club welcomes beginners, longtime fitness members, students, parents, working professionals, retirees, and seniors who want a comfortable local place to stay active.

Over 85 Group Exercise Classes Each Week

The Vanderbilt Club offers one of the strongest group exercise programs in the Norwood area. Members enjoy over 85 group classes each week held in Studio A, Studio B, the pool, and our spacious Spin studio. Our line-up includes cardio, muscle, aerobics, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Spin, Barre, aquatics exercise, Fit For Life, and more!

Some classes are high-energy and sweat-focused. Others are gentler, slower, or designed to support balance, mobility, flexibility, and overall wellness. This variety helps members stay active without feeling stuck in the same routine. You can try different instructors, different class styles, and different levels of intensity until you find what fits your goals.

Group Fitness Classes  Included With Membership

One of the biggest values of joining The Vanderbilt Club is that group fitness classes are included with membership.

Instead of paying separate studio-style prices for every class, members can enjoy a wide range of fitness classes as part of their regular club membership. That means you can take Spin one day, Yoga another day, Zumba later in the week, and a strength or stretching class when it fits your schedule.

This makes it easier to build a consistent routine without worrying about paying for every single class.

For many members, the group class schedule is one of the main reasons they choose The Vanderbilt Club.
It gives them structure, variety, and support while still keeping the comfortable feel of a local health club.

It is a great starting point for beginners and still helpful for all levels.

HIIT

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. This class uses short bursts of activity followed by brief rest periods to challenge endurance, strength, and calorie burn.

Interval

Interval keeps the workout moving with cycles of cardio and muscle drills. This class gives members a full-body workout without constantly watching the clock.

Muscle

Muscle is a weight training class focused on sculpting, strengthening, and toning. Classes may use weights, balls, tubing, and other resistance tools. Variations may include Shred Muscle and Muscle Plus.
