Personal Training

A personal trainer can take you to levels of fitness you might not achieve on your own—even levels you might not have thought possible. It’s an investment that will pay dividends for the rest of your life.

Why work with a Personal Trainer?

  • new to exercise
  • need rehabilitation after an injury or surgery
  • help treat a chronic condition, like arthritis, osteoporosis, etc.
  • improve athletic performance
  • take your fitness to the next level
  • evaluate and perfect your exercise technique
  • weight loss
  • body building

What your Personal Trainer will do for you

  • assess your current level of fitness and lifestyle
  • listen to your concerns and help you define your goals
  • design a progressive, personalized program to help you achieve those goals
  • provide focus, accountability and motivation
  • help you execute movements correctly and safely
  • set the pace and intensity of your program
  • monitor and evaluate progress toward your goals
Personal Trainer qualificationsAll of our Personal Trainers have science-backed education and training. Some have college degrees in exercise science or health and wellness, and all are certified Fitness Trainers by nationally recognized organizations. They regularly expand their expertise with continuing education. Check out their profiles for more specifics about each trainer.
Choosing the right Personal TrainerTell us a little bit about what you’re looking for and when you want to train. We can recommend a Trainer or you can choose one yourself after reading their profiles. We’ll set up a meet and greet so you can ask questions and check out your “chemistry.”
What to expect at your first sessionOnce you purchase a Personal Training package, we’ll arrange a consultation with your Trainer to discuss your goals and your exercise and health history. At this meeting, your base-line information will be collected (like blood pressure, height, weight). Next, you’ll set up appointments with your Trainer to launch your personalized fitness program.
